VDG Real Estate and Next Level acquire a plot of 15,440 sqm in Waalwijk to add to the 41,387 sqm already purchased.

Gemert, 17 March 2020 | VDG Real Estate and Next Level acquired the 15,440 sqm plot to add to the 41,387 sqm plot already purchased. To facilitate the logistical development, two brownfield plots will be combined: circular land use. This will result in a plot that offers an ideal layout for logistical activities.

Rene Geujen, Director of Plan Development Next Level: “In the context of the discussion on ecological destruction, we see it as an opportunity to use two brownfield plots on existing industrial estates for new construction in a circular approach.”

VDG Real Estate and Next Level indicate that they will most likely realise a future-proof logistics new construction development of approx. 35,000 sqm on this plot. The plot is located directly adjacent to the A59 and the Waalwijkse Haven. The permit process with the municipality is currently underway. As soon as more is known about this development, VDG Real Estate and Next Level will share this with the market. The demolition of the former buildings on the adjacent plot has almost been completed.
